Southcity Shopping Centre – Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Promoter

Southcity Shopping Centre (“the Promoter”)

Promotion Name: Find the Elf – Christmas 2025

Promotion Period: Monday 1 December – Sunday 14 December 2025

2. Eligibility

1. Entry is open to all residents of New South Wales aged 16 years or over.

2. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Southcity Shopping Centre, participating retailers, and associated agencies are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, the Southcity Elf will be hidden in a different location within the shopping centre every few days. Participants can enter in one of two ways:

• Option 1 – Digital Entry: Locate the Elf within the Centre, scan the QR code displayed beside it, and complete the online entry form with the required details:

- Date of entry

- Full name

- Suburb

- Email address

- Telephone number

- Location of the Elf found

• Option 2 – In-Centre Entry: Complete a printed entry form available within the Centre, fill out all required fields, and place it in the official 'Find the Elf' competition box located outside of Coles.

Only one entry per person per day will be accepted. All entries must be received by 5:00 pm on Sunday 14 December 2025.

4. Prizes

Three winners will be randomly drawn:

🥇 1st Prize – Southcity Shopping Centre Gift Hamper – $500

🥈 2nd Prize – Southcity Shopping Centre Gift Hamper – $300

🥉 3rd Prize – Southcity Shopping Centre Gift Hamper – $100

Each hamper includes a variety of products and vouchers from Southcity retailers.

Total prize pool value: $900.00.

5. Prize Draw and Winner Notification

1. The prize draw will be conducted at Southcity Shopping Centre Management Office on Monday 15 December 2025.

2. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

3. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email within 48 hours of the draw.

4. Winners’ first names and suburbs may be published on Southcity Shopping Centre’s website and social media channels.

5. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, the prize may be forfeited and another winner drawn.

6. Conditions of Prize

1. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

2. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value if required.

3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value or availability of specific items.

4. Winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity (including photos) without compensation.

7. General Conditions

1. Entry is free; no purchase is required to participate.

2. Entries must be complete and legible. Incomplete, indecipherable, or duplicate entries will be deemed invalid.

3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering or breaching these Terms and Conditions.

4. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. The promotion will proceed regardless of weather or other external conditions unless otherwise determined by the Promoter.

8. Privacy Statement

1. Personal information collected during this promotion will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the competition and awarding prizes.

2. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

3. Entrants’ personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Promoter’s privacy policy.

4. Participants may access, update, or correct their personal information by contacting the Promoter directly.

9. Liability

1. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participation in the promotion or acceptance of a prize.

2. The Promoter is not responsible for technical issues, including but not limited to QR code scanning errors, website outages, or data transmission delays.

10. Authorisation

This promotion is conducted in accordance with the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW). As the total prize pool is under $10,000, no trade promotion authority or permit is required.
